Inktober Day 19
This one was a lot of fun because I’ve been playing with the idea of drawing Elle and Treize in a Red Riding Hood inspired piece. I spent far longer on this than I should have mostly because I was drawing it while sick and just took my time. I think I’ll play with metallic ink and fancy pens for the next upcoming batch.
Inktober Days 16-18
Mostly quickies due to excessive overtime at work this week. Also tried experimenting with some of the Faber Castell brush pens I received as gifts. I really like the ink flow and the greys available, but I dislike that the ink does not overlay very well except for black which is excellent. Perhaps it’s the sketchbook…I’ll try it on other papers too.
Inktober day 14 & 15
I might do two tomorrow if I can manage it just because I’ll be tied up all day on Friday :x
Inktober Days 10-13
Threw in a fanart of Black Rock Shooter for day 12 because I wanted to play with the brush pens some more. Disclaimer: I have no idea what her rock cannon looks like…I sort of did a flash study of the figure I own and tried to guess from there.
Day 10 “green tea” was also super fun, so was the mermaid in day 11 but I spent far too long on both of those than I should have—upside is that thanks to Inktober I’ve been increasing in terms of speed!

Inktober Days 8-9
I purchased some new Copic brush pens to play with so these were super fun!

Inktober Days 5-7
I honestly can’t remember where that quote was from and it’s bothering me…if anyone remembers let me know..!

Inktober: Day 1
Happy turkey day fellow Canadians! Finally getting around to uploading all the Inktobers I’ve been too busy/lazy to upload.
Quick doodle before bed.
I’m trying to get in at least some form of practice each day, especially now since I rarely have the luxury of time. Most of what I have been doing recently are quick scribbles done in 15 mins or less during breaks at work, and you can always tell there is a very clear and distinct lack of quality between drawings I dash off quickly and ones where I actually put in some form of effort.
Skill does not improve without effort! If you love what you do, always find time for it each day. If you can’t, make time! Everything worthwhile is worth trouble and sacrifice.
WIP of a quick ink paint. Had a tiny smidge of some fountain pen ink left over and needed to use it up for something. I’ll probably do this for all my leftover ink colours.
